"Shh..." Ben held his finger to his lip, looking at the offensive lamp that had dared to trip him. No, someone had decided to rearrange all the furniture on him while he had been away at the bonfire party at the river.
The soon-to-be Senior Class had gathered for a night of music, swimming, grilling and beer. However, Ben hadn't exactly mentioned that last piece to his parents.
Now did he warn them that he would be stumbling in at two in the morning.
The lights flipped on and blinded him a moment, and then he was able to make out his father on the stairs, shotgun aimed at home. His mother was only a few feet behind him, scowling.
"Awww shit..."

Date: 2009-06-19 05:04 pm (UTC)The next morning, Ben decided that sleeping in was the best idea ever as all the fun from last night caught up to him. The Cincinnati zoo had lost all it's animals and the elephants had decided to hide in his head. It was either that, or his father had found some kind of voodoo curse to make him feel miserable.

Date: 2009-06-19 05:21 pm (UTC)He hadn't been able to sleep much the night before, so he spent the time doing what he needed to do to clean out the garage and fit Ben's car inside. He wasn't moving it in until he informed Ben that that was his punishment, and he knew his son wasn't going to be pleased with the turn of events. So instead he just kept cooking, waiting for Ben to join him downstairs.

Date: 2009-06-19 07:38 pm (UTC)It didn't bother him that Ben had been drinking. He and Ben had both done it once or twice in the last year or so. Ben wasn't a stupid drinker. Alec just did it to fit in, because it wasn't like he would ever feel the alcohol.
No, he wasn't pissed at Ben for drinking. But he was pissed at his brother for driving. Even carefully. His own imagination pulling up multiple was Ben could have been wrapped around a tree.
He sighed and banged his head back into his pillow. He knew he wasn't being fair. He did stupid things one his bike sometimes. X5 reflexes letting him pull off stunts that would get a normal person killed.
But still, he didn't like worrying. So he read in bed until it was time to get up for the day and to his revenge in the form of kindness. He appeared next to his brothers bed with three advil and a large glass of water. "Up before Dad comes and hauls you down stairs."

Lisa had managed to get dressed as well, having brewed some coffee and was sitting at the table with Sammy, coloring with her.

"You're welcome, sweetheart," Dean replied, kissing the top of her head, before sitting on the opposite side of her that Lisa was.

Lisa looked up at him. "Your father cooked you breakfast, and you're going to sit down and eat it."
"But I'm not hungry," Ben stated, sipping the coffee.
