Everything is gonna be all right (right?)

Ben is home sick. Stupid flu. Stupid school. One chick gets sick, everyone gets sick because she has to be all touchy-feely and touch EVERYTHING in the classroom.

So he checks his journal after waking up from a nap, and sees Dean and Sam fighting in Sam's journal. And in his little Robotussin-floaty head, he gathers that Dean is also sick, but very very sick, and Sam is worried and something is wrong.

And that makes Ben worried, because obviously he hero worships Dean. Hense why in his journal appears this post:


Dean? Sam? are you guys ok?


ooc: yeah, and in my head, it's even more puppy look. like teeny tiny voice scared of the world voice.

Dean and I do that sometimes. We'll be fine. And yeah...Dean is sick. He got hit by a really nasty ghost but he's going to be okay. Alec fixed him up and he just needs to rest. I'm kind of getting on his nerves. You know how you said your Mom got clingy? I'm being too clingy and Dean doesn't handle it as well as you do.


Well that sucks. It's a good reason to convince your Mom you need lots of ice cream though.

he got hit by a ghost? I thought ghosts couldn't touch things... just be like wavy see through and go boo.

Is Alec a doctor? He's really cool from when I talked to him.

And if Dean's sick, he might not like it. I don't like my mom being around when I'm sick unless I want her to. She keeps touching my forehead and cheeks and I don't like it. Maybe he's the same way?

No ice cream. Sherbert. She said that milk is bad when you're sick.

Well...it was a vengeful spirit. Like a ghost but pissed off. And they can hurt you bad. Did you see ghost busters? You know how some of them could shoot ecto plasmic goo? This one shot ecto plasmic energy at Elle and Dean jumped in front of it. Elle shocked the crap out of the spirit and we salted and burned it's bones.

Alec is like our little brother. He's special though and he's got really good, really special blood that helps people heal. He gave Dean some of his blood. Like a transfusion? Do you know what that is?

Yeah, I think Dean is like that. He says I keep looking at him weird.

That makes sense. I'd make a bad Mom or Dad because I don't know stuff like that.

No, I don't know that word. Did he make dean drink his blood, because that's just gross.

I think you learn that stuff later on, but you'd be a cool dad.

Yeah it won't be bothering anyone else again.

*chuckle* No, he didn't make Dean drink his blood. They take a needle and a tube (it's called an IV) and they hook the tube to the needle then they put the needle in one of the veins on your arm. They took blood out of Alec and put it in a bag, the poked the tube in the bag and ran the blood through the tube into Dean's veins so that he can use it.

Thanks. Maybe you do learn that stuff later. I don't know.

Do you think doing that will help me get rid of this flu? It sucks. I mean, I don't mind staying home and watching TV all day, but I HATE being sick.

*smile* Probably not. It fixes more like...things that are damaged. You've just got a virus. Dean damaged his heart but it's getting better because of Alec's blood. Pretty soon there won't be any damage.

The flu does suck. Dean used to make chicken noodle soup and watch Disney movies with me when I was little and sick. It always made me feel better.

oh. so the ghost zapped dean's heart? Is that kinda like those paddles that they put on people's chest and yell "CLEAR" and there's a humming noise and the person flops around on the bed, and then the heart starts beating again?

And shouldn't that help him then, and not hurt him?

Hmmm the ghost zapped his whole body and when that happens it's bad. The only time it's good to get zapped is when your heart has stopped. Dean's heart didn't stop.


Dude...I'm not that old. There were some non girly Disney movies when I was little.

Awesome! I suck at those kind of games though. I have awesome hand eye coordination, but it does not translate well to computer games at all.
