Rehab - Day 3

He sat in the main room, a beanbag in the corner by the window. The nurse had brought him into the room so they could clean out the bedroom. Between his drugs and Travis' porn, they were both required to have sweeps done every day for items that might be a hindrance to their recovery.

It was a bad withdrawal day for Ben, and the Nurse had carefully guided him to the common room, set him up on the bean bag and wrapped a blanket around his shoulders. The people in the rehab had learned very quickly that Ben reacted much better to female staff than male staff, and days like this was best to just cave to his needs.

So he was in the corner, trying not to shake badly while listening to his MP3 player. He was only allowed to have it in the common room, and they kept it charged for him. The sounds of classic rock soothed him enough that he stayed in his spot, just looking at the people in the room.

When the blonde woman entered, his eyes automatically went to her. She was hot, and that was an understatement.

Elle had been resistant to the rehab idea at first, but Bob had been rather insistent. Supposedly there was someone in here with a power. The lack of a name, or any real information required them to have someone inside the facility to keep an eye open.

She'd agreed reluctantly, and the sex addiction had been her idea, although her father didn't seem as amused by it as she did.

She was led into the main common room to wait while they got everything set up for her. It was then she saw the saw the man sitting in the corner with his headphones on, watching her. A devilish smile crossed her face before she made her way over to him.

She was coming over to him. It was hard to look cool when you're body's shaking from withdrawal and you're sweating like you're wearing a snowsuit in a suana, but Ben did the best he could as he shifted to look up at her.

"If you're going to be here the next thirty days, I might actually find a reason to start liking rehab," Ben stated, taking his headset off.

"Then I guess you'd better start looking happier." She smirked, taking a seat beside him.

Even on the way over here she'd noticed the way he was shaking. It was impossible not to, really. A hint of concern flashed through her eyes, and she laid a hand on his shoulder.

"Drugs?"

Ben looked away a moment, nodding. "Yeah. Not one of my smarter moves now that I think about it. But it helped then, so yeah."

He looked up at her. "You?"

That smirk returned to her face at the question. "Sex addiction."

Personal space had never really been something Elle paid much attention to, and she watched him shake for just a moment more before looping one arm around his shoulders.

"How long have you been here?"

"Day three, and well, if you have to be addicted to something, sex isn't a bad one," Ben smirked.

He started a bit at her arm, but again, women tended to be a bit more relaxing to him physically then men, so after the initial start, he just relaxed into it.

"Whatever you do, though, avoid a guy named Travis. He's my roommate and has a porn addiction. He'll follow you all over the place if he knew."

"I guess you could say I embrace my bad habits."

She tightened her arm around him slightly, face screwing up at his little warning.

"Yeah, that's just disgusting. You just....point him out to me and I'll be sure to avoid him at all costs."

"He's my roommate. It's more than disgusting. Gotta feel sorry for the guy though." He motioned with his head towards the 29 year old guy who was staring at the nurses booth. He was furiously writing in a journal, looking up and licking his lips at the nurses.

"That's him there."

"Maybe just a little." She murmuered, glancing in the direction he'd motioned towards, her eyes widening slightly at the sight.

"Do me a favor? Let me know if you ever see him licking his lips like that at me."

"He licks his lips at me like that. I wait until he's asleep before I feel safe enough to go to bed."

Ben smirked a bit. "What would you do to him, though? Just for reference." Cause Ben would be licking his lips at her.

Elle turned back to look at him, arching an eyebrow as she smirked.

"Trust me, I've got ways to make him stop."

"Then I'll make sure no one gives you those eyes."

She gave him a gently nudge, smirking.

"You gonna look out for me?"

"You got other friends in this place?" he countered, smirking back.

She chewed on her bottom lip, studying his face. "I can't say that I do, no."

"Well, now you do." Which of course gave him a friend as well. And it was nice to have a friend when you were somewhere you didn't want to be.

Ben had seen Girl, Interrupted, thank you. The girls were hot in it.

Unfortunately for Elle, that was one she'd never seen. She had absolutely no idea what rehab was going to be like. Although as long as he was here, it couldn't be that bad, could it.

"I'm Elle." She whispered, as though there might be someone else listening.

"I'm Ben." He leaned in close. "Nice to meet you."

"It's a pleasure." She breathed, eyes lighting up as he leaned closer.

"Sadly, I can't prove that or I'll be enabling your bad habits," Ben quipped.

"And we wouldn't want to do that." She answered with a quiet laugh. "Not here where Travis can see, at least."

"Or the nurses. Otherwise you'll be locked in solitary with a chastity belt for 30 days."

Her mouth fell open at this. Not quite what she'd been expecting. "I think I'd end up hanging myself with a bed sheet."

He saw her mouth fall open and he bit his lip. Yeah, Ben. Great on the subtlety.

"Sorry, didn't mean to be like that. I've been told the drugs destroyed my brain to mouth filter."

She closed her mouth with a snap, leaning a bit closer.

"Don't worry, I've been told I was born without that particular filter. Plus, you're cute, so I'll let it slide."
