“My brother and I were born strangers.”
| Inventing the Abbotts
I remember the first time I met my brother - didn't even know he was that to me then. It's really freaky walking around a corner and to find yourself staring at your own face. Worse when you're then thrown against the wall and trying to breathe while you explain who you are to said stranger.
When I was living with my mom, I had always asked why I never had a brother. Well, that was the second question since where my dad was tended to be the number one on the "annoying questions Ben always asks" list she kept on the fridge. She knew the answer to number one and didn't tell me until she was dying, but number two was always the same. "Why would I need another kid? You're all I ever wanted."
