"And you're just ready to let Dean call the shots, after he's been gone for the last 18 years?" Ben looked up at his mother.
Lisa looked at Dean, then nodded. "Yes. He saved us before when you were in trouble. So I trust him. And I'm still your mother so get in the car now." Part of her was coming back, and she focused on the only thing she had left.

Ben's eyes opened wide in shock - or as wide as the puffiness would allow - and then he scowled and pulled himself to his feet painfully. He took the drink and the pills his mother handed him, downing the pills before glaring at Dean and pushing past him towards the car.
