Tell me a secret.
Is it a coincidence that there are a bunch of children who look exactly like Dean Winchester in this world?
Of course not.
In 1999, Sam Winchester had his first bad dream. He didn't remember it being special because it was a nightmare to add to all the nightmares that he suffered through his entire life. But it had been a test.
All the special kids had a test that week. And when Sam told his father about it the next morning, John learned that his son was different. It would be a secret he kept for years until he whispered it into Dean's ear before dying.
So what does that have to do with the Dean clones? Thought you'd never ask.
The special kids were truly special. But Sam? He was the strongest at the end of that test. The best and brightest, and my father wanted that power badly. But there was a chance that it wasn't going to happen, and we needed to prepare for another generation.
Dean Winchester inherited his mother's ability to carry the special gifts. It would be passed down to all his children, and one would be the pick of the litter. If Sam was that strong, it was because of the genes he got from his mother.
But we wanted a bit more in this new generation, and my father had learned about Manticore. That's where the cat twins originated from. I lost count of how many times my father would possess workers in that place to check on their development. His babies, he called them.
And then we got whiff of another child through the demon hot line and went to investigate. Looks like someone forgot a rubber, because that boy looked just like the two that Manticore had in lockup. But his DNA was different - his mother was also a carrier, and the gene makeup was what we were really looking for.
My father spent time watching this one grow now, and we talked about plans for him. How to make him ours. To pull him down into the darkest levels of humanity so he could serve beside our happy little family.
Dean tried to end that when he killed my father. But he never killed me. And that was the biggest mistake he could have done.
In 2009 with my father now long dead, I decided that I wanted the twins separated. Different circumstances would develop their powers differently. So there was a bit of help in the woods that night to help one of the children, also called Ben, escape. The one that stayed behind was another experiment - Alec the super soldier.
It was a shame to have lost the Manticore Ben, but I still had two of the chosen ones. And now, the time has come to get my revenge.
Dean Winchester is going to die - painfully. And it would be done by the hands of his own son. And then it will be Sam's fall, and soon I will control the demons on Earth. All from within the strongest piece of flesh and blood on Earth.
And little Ben Braeden will have no idea what's going on at all. And if he fails, there's always Alec. I wonder just what powers he's ready to unleash.
