He tried to stop the hand shaking and looked away a bit. He shifted between aloofness and shame when thinking about the things he had done to himself.

"It wasn't a lot at first. Started smoking weed when I was in high school. Everyone did it. Then afterwards it just got worse. Last few weeks though..." he shook his head. "Not been fun."
